Return Policy for The Beauty Institute Australia

The Beauty Institute Australia Refund Policy

At The Beauty Institute Australia, we are committed to delivering premium online beauty education, practical training resources, and professional trainer support.

As our courses include immediate access to digital learning materials, downloadable resources, educational intellectual property, trainer guidance, and in many cases physical training kits shipped to students, please read this policy carefully before enrolling.

By purchasing a course, you acknowledge and agree to the terms below.

Change of Mind

We do not provide refunds for change of mind, selecting the wrong course, personal circumstances, lack of time, work commitments, illness, or if you simply decide not to continue after purchase.

Students are encouraged to carefully review all course details, inclusions, suitability requirements, and entry expectations prior to enrolling.

Cooling Off Period

Students may request cancellation within 24 hours of purchase provided:

  • course access has not been activated
  • no digital learning materials, videos, downloads, or course content have been accessed
  • no assessments have been commenced
  • any included training kit has not been packed, processed, or dispatched


Where these conditions are met, a refund may be considered at the discretion of The Beauty Institute Australia, less any applicable payment processing fees.

After this 24-hour period, or once course access has been provided, digital content accessed, assessments commenced, or a kit has entered fulfilment, the standard refund policy applies.

Digital Course Access

Once payment has been made and access has been provided to your online course, student portal, videos, downloadable learning materials, assessments, templates, manuals, or any other digital educational content, no refund will be provided.

This is due to the immediate access to intellectual property and digital content which cannot be returned.

Training Kits

Where a course includes a practical training kit:
  • kits may only be returned if approved by The Beauty Institute Australia
  • kits must be unopened, unused, complete, and in original packaging
  • return shipping costs are the responsibility of the student
  • original shipping charges are non-refundable
  • payment processing fees and administration charges are non-refundable
  • opened, used, incomplete, damaged, or tampered kits are strictly non-refundable

Payment Plans

Students who choose a payment plan remain responsible for the full course fee.

Cancelling scheduled payments, stopping direct debits, failed instalments, or discontinuing study does not cancel your financial commitment or outstanding balance.

The Beauty Institute Australia reserves the right to engage debt recovery processes where accounts remain unpaid.

Course Transfers

Course transfers are not permitted once enrolment has been processed.

Students are responsible for carefully selecting the correct course prior to purchase, as all enrolments are final.

Course Access Period

Course access is provided for 12 months from the date of enrolment unless otherwise stated.

Students are responsible for completing their course within this timeframe.

Expired access extensions may be available at additional cost.

Existing Beauty Professional Courses

Some advanced procedures including skin needling, hydrodermabrasion, chemical peels, advanced skin treatments, LED therapies, and other professional-level procedures are designed strictly for existing beauty professionals only.

Students enrolling in these courses must provide evidence of prior beauty qualifications, industry experience, or relevant prior learning as requested by The Beauty Institute Australia before course access is granted.

It is the student's responsibility to ensure they meet the suitability requirements prior to enrolment.

Refunds will not be provided where a student enrols into an advanced professional course without meeting the stated entry requirements.

If a student is unable to provide acceptable evidence of prior knowledge, qualification, or industry experience, enrolment may be declined and course access withheld until requirements are met.

Technical Requirements

Students are responsible for ensuring they have suitable access to:
  • reliable internet
  • a computer, tablet, or compatible device
  • camera and audio access where required
  • basic digital literacy skills
  • ability to upload assessments and communicate online


Refunds will not be provided due to technical limitations or inability to use required technology.

Certification

Certificates of Completion are issued only once all required assessments, practical evidence, and course requirements have been successfully completed.

Partial completion does not qualify for certification.

Exceptional Circumstances

Requests due to exceptional circumstances may be submitted in writing for consideration.

Any outcome remains entirely at the discretion of The Beauty Institute Australia and approval is not guaranteed.

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.

If a course or product fails to meet consumer guarantees, students may be entitled to remedies in accordance with Australian law.
